India will become a developed economy and nation in 20 years. There's no reason it won't except Indians self-sabotaging. Everything is being built and put in place for a glorious next decade. Energy is going to be abundant and cheap to fuel India's growth. India can also manage war and conflicts. But political instability due to the public falling for pessimism and psyops to elect the wrong set of leaders can definitely setback India for a decade again.

India has now attained criticality in a commercial, 500MW power producing, fast breeder nuclear reactor. (We had experimental one before, but this is a big commercial one that can produce power.) Criticality means reactor is running by itself without needing to keep re-igniting it. Breeder means it makes more fissile fuel than it uses. Nobody wanted to give India such tech. Because these reactors can create nuclear fissile material. So India created the tech itself in spite of sanctions. Only Russia has this tech (true commerical fast breeder reactor) running. US, UK, France say they have given up on this. China has one prototype based on Russian tech but it is not yet commercial. India has refused to put its Fast Breeder Reactor program under international scrutiny. It is a big, big, no HUGE thing for India's energy independence. But, as usual, most Indians won't know how big as we don't play up our achievements. I was recently amused seeing some posts by Gen-Z advising Indian govt to go for Thorium cycle etc in some condescending tone. Because India has been on it quietly for sometime. And this reactor going critical now and commercial soon means it can sustain itself for infinity. This cuts India's imports of Uranium. And paves the way for Thorium based reactors as well. (Stage 3 of India's nuclear program, we just passed Stage 2 with PM's post). Also, what PM didn't say is, this reactor can help generate some 100+kg of weapons grade Plutonium -with which India can make many warheads and expand nuclear stockpile if it wishes so. But India will never do that, you know, as India is a very peaceful nation promoting world wide nuclear disarmament ;)

#THFC Roberto De Zerbi has been clear to the board that he wants versatile players with good ball-playing qualities. A long list has been discussed already between RDZ and the board. Van Hecke and Mitoma at the top of the list.

The root cause of the disruption in the Strait of Hormuz is the U.S.-Israel illegal military operations against Iran. Only by ending the military actions and restoring peace and stability in the Gulf can the international shipping lane be open and safe. The international community needs to work together for de-escalation to prevent regional turmoil from further hitting the global economy and energy security.

Azerbaijan plays an enormous role in the region, I wouldn’t be surprised if they take a more proactive role. It’s their neighborhood. Islamic Republic, while was manageable as a political unit, was constantly trying to weaken Baku especially after it revived its relationship with Jerusalem.

My assessment: 1- IRGC made a bet. And the bet was that they would keep the pressure on the Strait of Hormuz, and set the market on fire, as it would be the easiest way to make Trump think twice, withdraw, TACO, or have Gulf countries turn against Trump. But it didn’t work. It won’t work militarily or just in general. UAE is joining the war in a more proactive manner, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi are also more eager now than ever. Qataris have completely switched against the IRGC. But also, Trump himself said "I don’t care about the strait" obviously meaning that others should join the fight, but he denied to IRGC its strategic value. Which absolutely sucks for them given how they are pissing off their own partners, China mainly. The goal of every single military operation is to either enhance posture or change the calculus of your enemy in a way that favors you, blocking the strait isn’t achieving that for them. 2- IRGC thought that Trump given that he kept on saying that "it’s going fast" that dragging and delaying discussions or surrender to Trump’s demands, they would buy time. But they don’t understand that it’s a war, you can’t buy time when you’re being hit at the core of your command and control and your units aren’t being replenished. I’m not sure if they are delusional or if they are in a state of denial and my understanding is that it’s the latter because they constantly underestimate US resolve just like they underestimated Israel last year. 3- Trump, if you haven’t noticed, is ready to escalate, it’s a problem for IRGC because they are so used to being the ones who set the tempo of escalations, (see Iran-Israel April 2025) U.S. options have widened so much compared to just a weak ago. In other words, doesn’t look good for them. They made too many enemies and too fast.

Hezbollah organizations want Lebanon to join the ICC, hoping they can replicate the sham Gaza trial. Lebanon is in violation of the UN Special Tribunal on Hariri, which found Hezbollah leadership guilty of assassinating the former prime minister. Lebanon is also in violation of UN Security Council resolutions 1559 and 1701 (disarming Hezbollah, demarcating border with Israel). Perpetrators of a dozen assassinations and Port explosion remain at large. And what do Lebanese “NGOs” want? Look at Israel.

In the future, there will be three major powers in the world: China, USA, EU. Neutral countries will move as much as possible towards the EU as their preferred partner because both China and the USA treat other countries disrespectfully and try to extort them. Europe will be the only great power and market to turn to if you want to have an equal and fair relationship. Canada is already moving towards Europe for this exact reason. India and Japan will also form a closer relationship with Europe. This is what soft power means. MAGA replies in the comment section will prove the point.
