@Doc_179 @iRukenu @Yaniversety no? have you watched any anniversary stream from any other gacha games than wuwa? all anniversary rewards are for that anniversary, they might rerun previous banners / skins, or they might give you a free unit thats useful for the anniversary character

It is then more about fooling players into believing they're being rewarded than actually rewarding them

In all honesty, rewarding players during an anniversary should be expected. It is how a game shows appreciation to the people who have invested their time and love into it.
This is not about being entitled or begging for rewards. It is about showing that you actually care about the players who stuck with the game despite all the hurdles and negativity.
When an anniversary ends up feeling more like the company promoting itself, with ads, spending events, and things players do not really care about, it honestly feels like a bit of a slap in the face.
We already know that once we leave Lahai Roi, those purchased bike skins will not carry over. So instead of meaningful rewards like character skins, we are getting more bike skins, which feels like a really strange direction for the game.
Lately, I am not a fan of where things are heading. Features like the sub-stat changer or the weekly subscription just add to that concern.
That is my take. I would like to hear your side too, Marco. I am open to the discussion.

Gacha games live and die by their player count, it's not crazy to reward the people funding your project.

@Marcodmeatball @MagnetGame216 not everyone is a content creator who streams and has monetisation from it to be able to swipe and spendoney every banner they want marco, not everyone has free cash lying around to actually spend on these games, so anniversary's are the day they most look forward to for rewards

@Marcodmeatball I think people are really missing the forest through the trees here. I don't recall many gacha games having FULL canon MSQs during and anniversary. Like you said, we asked for more game, WE GOT MORE GAME. As far as I'm concerned, kuro listened, and these losers are still mad.

I was truly genuinely asking. I actually agree with many of you. It feels like they over corrected from the shit show from last year only to walk into another one this year. I said it on my live stream, I don't care about this. I spend money. I was really just trying to understand because I don't remember ever being showered with gifts during an anniversary because even when I have actively played other gacha it has never been consistent enough to be around anniversary times even when I actively played genshin.
Company uses a gambling system to maximize profit and a system that actively wants you to feel fomo and spend a lot of money and you're surprised they're not generous. It's just a recipe for disaster. You keep comparing it to other games but this isn't those games. Even the same dev in the case of PGR.
I hope they walk it back and course correct for you because clearly you feel under valued as a community here.
I got what I wanted, which is more game, and parts of the game I like. I was gonna spend regardless.
