@RTWBarefoot It's great for keeping up with friends and family but the community stuff is the worst. I have to make myself log in and often I go months avoiding it. Probably why my Facebook page is dead lol.

We took the dogs out on a nice walk and saw some sunflowers and frogs. We also saw an elk but she was too far away to get a picture.

Both black bears and grizzly bears are found in Yellowstone, but when you see one, how do you determine which species it is? For starters, don’t let the name fool you - not all black bears have black fur! Some can be brown or cinnamon in color. A large black bear can also be bigger than a female grizzly, so a bear’s size can also be deceiving. To identify a bear, your best bet is to observe the bear’s silhouette as it moves across the landscape. In most body positions, a black bear does not have a prominent shoulder hump like a grizzly does. Black bears also have large ears and a straighter, more canine-like, facial profile than a grizzly.
