@aclientfirst @BACP In danger of repeated circle here, but if you are on board you literally HAVE to be on board: 5 yr mission, the lot; its part of what you sign up for as a @BACP board member. @aclientfirst How can you be a board member & not agree with the 5 year plan & #SCoPEd? Both delivered top-down. Surely if you join the board you join both. Will you insist on a democratic vote for all members on #SCoPEd & resign if its refused? If not you surely support #SCoPEd by default

@Against_SCoPEd I don't rate the 5 year plan at all. I think there is far too much emphasis on global 'branding' and far too little about client rights and member needs. It remains to be seen what power a new board will have over the direction of it.

All this is basic “competency” of a counsellor. If a counsellor can’t do this then I’d have serious questions about the training provider. The whole #scoped thing seems to lack evidence. I’ll be post grad trained with many years experience but stay at A unless I pay more
