The government must agree to create a new category of Extreme Criminal Protest Group to make it easier to ban groups like Palestine Action without necessarily labelling them as terrorists. Ministers should accept my amendment in the House of Lords.

The more Europe’s leaders drivel on about Europe the more Europe declines into irrelevance.
Europe’s leading military powers badly need to come together in rearming. But Macron stands in the way of full British participation for narrow self-interest reasons.
Starmer is just as bad: he talks big about a new European defence posture (much needed) but refuses to increase UK military spending by more than a minuscule amount.
Only Poland, Scandinavia, the Baltics and now Germany get it.
