Some lit mags charge up to $25 for an expedited response time. You can have an acceptance or rejection for your work in, say, 2 weeks rather than a few months.
Do you think it is ethical for lit mags to offer this sort of submissions fast track for a fee?

Twenty years ago Heth & I remortgaged our house to start a publishing company that would find great new stories others thought too risky to publish.
Our books have been short listed and won awards and two have been adapted into TV series.
Today we paid that mortgage off

She was the first woman elected to Parliament, and the first woman sworn into the Ontario Legislature. She brought major change to Canada's penal system, and championed the rights of immigrants and women.
