Star Atlas Dev Log 30: Initial tests enabling Global Invalidation yielded significant CPU savings spent on painting UI elements. This setting makes it so UI that doesnt change doesn't get repainted unless it changes (Invalidates). See video, heavy UI screen goes from spending 5ms in Slate to 0.5ms when things are at rest. I need to test more for regressions and make sure to set volatile widgets, but extremely excited about this potential quick win.

Star Atlas Dev Log 5: Spent time refactoring the crouch logic. State machine can get a bit complicated given support for toggle crouch and various movement abilities. Did you know if you hold forward and crouch during a dash or upon landing your character will try to slide?
