🔴 Liverpool Humiliated by Man City: Rot Now Impossible to Ignore #MCFC 4-0 #LFC Liverpool were 4-0 down to Man City on 60 minutes, but the result felt sealed the moment Van Dijk gave away the penalty and Haaland put City ahead. For 30 minutes, there was energy, tempo, and some control. Then one setback, and everything collapsed. No reaction, no leadership, just acceptance. This has been coming for months. Since November, the signs have been there and ignored by the powers that be. What we are seeing now is what happens when a problem is left to fester. Like mould in a house, it starts small, barely noticeable, then spreads behind the walls until one day it is everywhere and impossible to ignore. That is Liverpool right now. This isn't about tactics anymore. It's about mentality and culture. This team does not fight when things go wrong. Curtis Jones at least tried to drag something out of it, carrying the ball, pushing forward, showing some intent. The fact that he stood out says everything about the rest. Salah, missing the penalty, summed it up. A great player, but this version looks like a shadow, weighed down by everything around him. By 60 minutes, City had declared. Liverpool still offered nothing. Reds leaving early wasn't anger; it was resignation. The plus side, if you can call it that, is they can now focus on the race for a Europa League place. Because after this and the annihilation PSG likely serve up next, there will be no trophies left to play for. This team looks unfit, poorly coached, and mentally fragile. Unless something drastic changes, this decline will only accelerate. The Gerrard song being sung by the travelling Kop had all the hallmarks of the Dalglish chant going round in the Hodgson era. From the coaches to the players to the owners and management, it's cowards everywhere.

My thoughts on the match 🤬: -Embarrassing performance — where was the fight??? -Sack Slot before he walks out the Etihad. Anyone backing him for next season is delusional. -He's lost the fans. 58th-minute walkouts say it all. -We don't look fit. No intensity in training videos explains it. -Love Salah, but that was painful. Take him off penalties. -Midfield is a joke — the space we give teams is criminal. -Gravenberch cannot play 6 next season. No chance. -Wirtz was excellent first half. He'll shine under a new manager. -Ekitike looked sharp in patches. -Gomez actually kept Doku quiet for once. -Jones isn't Liverpool quality — let him go in the summer. -Konate was all over the place. I could go on and on that performance is not acceptable 🤬

2nd,3rd & 4th Man City goals show how you can easily cut right thru the middle from back to front vs Liverpool.Excuses about imbalanced squads, overhaul & shortened pre-seasons are all waffle. The main issue is the coaching of their defensive shape & it’s why Slot will be sacked.

Conceding a min before half time and 4 mins into the second half is just school boy. Where’s the mentality in the team? #LFC

Talking to a neighbour about frightening price of fuel as now at £1.92 a litre for diesel locally. He said he doesn’t see what all the fuss is about as he only ever puts £30 in so the price has not gone up for him. I decided to make my excuses and leave the conversation

@juza_23 Millwall in the prem would be perfect. It would hopefully get rid of the tourists and rubbish manufactured shite we have. Derbies would be class and it would be a nice change to what we have

Throwing a West Ham vs Millwall grenade into the most corporate league in the world would be fascinating. Don’t think there’s a derby that would ever feel less suited to the “Premier League” branding.
