I really enjoyed my time there, putting together a lot of really fun fights with Wojslaw & really miss my old colleagues.
But it's not on the cards in the foreseeable future.

@AlanMurphyMMA Alan come back to KSW

@AlanMurphyMMA Oktagon has better marketing, especially in Germany and they’re doing fantastic job there, but take all Oktagon champs against KSW champs. Even in LW Legierski wouldn’t be considered in 4-fighters „tournament” for the vacant after Parnasse’s departure.
English

Interesting stats here.
Would suggest a higher level of fighters in KSW over Oktagon.
Wonder what it is like for ex KSW fighters who have moved over.

@AndyHickeyMMA Was thinking more about this actually since you said it.
I wouldn’t be qualified enough on Irish MMA anymore to do it justice.
I think @andyste123 and @ioneillmma should put together their top current P4P list.
English

@Daaavvveee1 He was on his sabbatical from fighting then, hadn’t competed in the best part of two years.
Def would’ve been up there.
English

@AlanMurphyMMA No Joseph Duffy? He had beaten Parke and McGregor at this time and was undefeated.
English

@pierre_rud53846 @bradley_0000 @andyste123 Looked like it at one point but then he went on to have a pretty good run in Poland.
English

@AlanMurphyMMA @bradley_0000 @andyste123 Parke wasn’t the most exciting fighter ever but I’m amazed he never got a second run
English

@JamesNimmyKing I think the standard in general has increased across the board. Most of the people listed have helped excel the new generation.
However, the quality and number of shows in Ireland today is nowhere near what it used to be.
English

@AlanMurphyMMA Has the standard in Ireland regressed then vs now
English

@AndyHickeyMMA I did the rankings for pro and amateur in Ireland over the course of 3 years. All weights + these P4P.
Vocal feedback on such rankings is never ever positive.
That was enough for me 😂
I did help manage and put together the KSW rankings for years.
English

@AlanMurphyMMA Only realised it had their room numbers on it lol
I was drunk enough by the end of that night to be brave enough to prank the room if I had seen it lol
English

@WBAnMMA @andyste123 Yeah, looking back on it now maybe switch him and Fields around.
Both went into TUF that year too.
English

@AlanMurphyMMA @andyste123 Wasn’t Pendred a cage warriors champ then? I’d have maybe had him higher but I’m not mad at it at all
English

@ArseSol_ Wow. Haha. Yeah the sheer number of events and quality top to bottom.
English

@AlanMurphyMMA Some of my favourite times as an MMA fan were back then 🇮🇪
Local shows had some incredible talent.
I still have the official Weigh-in sheet from Cage Contender in Dublin and most my ticket stubs from the old shows lol

English

@bradley_0000 @andyste123 New? Parke had just won TUF.
Which was the biggest accomplishment of any Irish MMA fighter to that point in the UFC.
Was he better than McGregor, that’s another topic altogether. Shame we never saw them fight around this period.
English

Greatest promo of all time. Waiting for the day this is used in MMA.
