Frankly I have no idea what to truly expect from it, some are calling it amazing while others are on the opposite so best to prepare for all possibilities lol

I think this following week has a good chance of giving us this rumoured Mario Kart World update. No new Nintendo releases or events seem to be scheduled for it yet, which would leave the whole week open...

Honestly if anything needed to be touched first in mario kart world it had to be battle mode so this is a very welcome addition. Hoping they’ll do more courses too.

@nin10doland The Mario Kart World update is probably coming next week however, a Direct is definitely not due until at least after the Galaxy Movie to be honest

We still have not seen that Mario Kart world update because nintendo is having a general direct next week with that and the new 3D Mario as the last Mario announcements before the anniversary is over. Last year they also had a direct at the end of March so the window is still there. (This is 95% not happening I just wanted to yap, thank you)

I feel like every time I see a new announcement related to this movie, I get a little ecstatic first for a few seconds or so, until reality hits me and I wonder "how tf are they gonna cram all of this into 90 minutes"? I just hope Wart will show up in games from this point on...

In almost full agreement. Outside of the titular Bananza themes and classic remixes, the melodies of the new songs are largely unremarkable and unmemorable compared to previous 3D Marios and Donkey Kong games. How this take is controversial is beyond me.😭

I listened to the whole DK Bananza soundtrack and yeah... this might be its only weakness. There are hardly ANY memorable themes outside of the lagoon, then it just falls off all the way until heart of gold at the very end. Not having David Wise return was truly a mistake.

@odyssey_central No, I agree with you. A lot of the Banandium gems didn't take much more effort than to just dig straight into the ground to get. Super Mario Odyssey's moons definitely had the better variety, thanks to all the captures that are necessary for some of them.

I just got some pushback for saying DK Bananza’s bananas had less variety than Mario Odysseys moons, which honestly surprised me. I thought Odysseys variety was better mostly because of captures, but people were saying that was a weird take so I was curious what you all thought
