A hard rescue today as I got a message from a kind local lady who needed help with an old blind dog. The poor boy was most likely dumped in the area because the “end was close for him”. He was confused on the beach and stuck. He wouldn’t have lasted much longer were it not for their bravery. His vet results were about as bad as it gets. His eyes might be glaucoma as he can’t see a thing and his kidneys and liver are bad as well as severe anemia. His anemia is so bad we can’t even put him on a drip. While I was driving him around I just had to keep talking to him as his head would keep dropping. His body is so weak. He is also very hard to handle as he lashes out with bites as he can’t see what is going on around him. He is terrified. The ladies called him Rocky as they are hoping he will make a comeback. It won’t be easy at all but he did start eating, drinking and resting well this evening. We will all have to keep everything crossed for this lovely boy. Whatever happens he isn’t on his own and he has the best medical care now. Rocky even let me pet his head tonight. I think he understands he is safe.

Priya’s birthday turned into 12 new heartbeats of hope 💔➡️❤️ 20th April… a day that could have been just a celebration, but Priya chose to save lives instead. That day, so many mothers, newborn babies, orphans, and injured souls were rescued. And one of those rescued mothers… gave birth last night. 12 tiny lives came into this world, not on the burning streets, but in safety. Where would she have gone with 12 newborns? How would they have survived even a single day? Even thinking about it shakes the heart. But today… they are safe. An injured ANGEL named STORMY #A293060 fell into a storm drain. A STUNNING, 6️⃣ yo Brindle Plothound mix with a glorious coat & a BEAUTIFUL, expressive face 💥FILLED with FEAR💥! Why was he so fearful? Because he knew down deep in his sweet puppy 🐶 soul that he would receive NO MERCY from the one person he should trust the most‼️ Compassion wasn't an option for STORMY. It never had been❤️‍🩹😢.
