I really need to know why Civil defense officers always look more gallant, disciplined, composed and active than police officers?
I woke up thinking about my kid brother. He is working with a salary of #250,000 monthly. He is currently living with our parents and have come of age to rent his own apartment. The reason why his thought came across my mind this morning was that he spent 5k daily on transportation to his place of work and he work 26 days a month. He support the feeding of the house with 50k. He is also a student with national open University of Nigeria. As a Christian, he is firm believer of titheing which he removes 10% monthly from his salary. His goal this year is to rent his own apartment preferably closer to his office and the cheapest room goes for 650k (self-contained) What will be your advise(s) to him considering the economic situation in Nigeria and his monthly bills?

No sir, they don’t give us our phones back they take them and use them themselves. Let me share what I went through. The day I was kidnapped, they collected my cross bag. Inside it was my phone, ₦80,000 cash, and even my cap. After trekking for hours, far away from the farm where they took me, their group leader ordered me to unlock my phone and remove the password completely. He told me to open my WhatsApp too. He started going through my gallery and chats, asking me all sorts of questions. You could tell they didn’t really understand what they were doing, he couldn’t even tell the difference between an iPhone and an Android, he was asking me if my phone was an iPhone or and Android phone, he struggled to operate my phone. When we finally got to their camp, he told me to wipe the phone completely. Then he forced me to remove my SIM card and inserted his own. After that, he ordered me to open WhatsApp and TikTok for him. I tried and open it for him, but at that moment, my head was scattered I couldn’t even remember the exact username I used, it was abubakar something sha. Everything about that experience was painful and dehumanizing. I just kept doing whatever they said, hoping to survive. 💔😭 I thank God I survived 🙏🏽🦡

Let the Nigerian Police @PoliceNG raise the minimum recruitment requirement for officers from WAEC to HND and a Bachelor's degree, and watch rascality among officers reduce to the bare minimum. If you inquire thoroughly, the officer who shot that guy dead is likely an illiterate who only completed SSCE with F9 or didn’t attend any school. You can’t continue recruiting touts, ex-convicts, and retired cult members into the police and expect them to have good morals. It’s not done anywhere in the world. @NGRSenate @NigeriaGov
