@dukeofnewyork3 @darrengrimes 17%, probably an underestimation as these predictions always are, is a huge number of people. This would mean many Muslims in parliament. What kind of laws do you think they’ll be lobbying for? I’d rather not defend an ideology that wants me dead.

@dukeofnewyork3 @darrengrimes This is not scaremongering or suggesting any harm be done to a group of people. Quite the opposite. We don’t want violence, just as we don’t want stoning. You can defend Islam all you like, but the majority of British Muslims believe homosexuality should be illegal.

@dukeofnewyork3 @darrengrimes At last census it was about 6.3%. Pew, an indie organisation says it’ll be 16-17% in the UK by 2050. Plenty to allow the formation of a political party. It will be the largest religion in Europe. No shame in being very concerned about that.
