🚨 BREAKING: Aidan O'Brien has stated that Gstaad and Albert Einstein were removed from the 2,000 Guineas due to an administrative error arising from a computer glitch. The trainer is still working to try and get both colts reinstated. O'Brien said: "There was a blip on the computer. Something happened, the computer went bananas and took out a couple of horses that weren't meant to be taken out. We are hoping to get them back in and could do with a bit of common sense being applied. The people here in the office were trying to take the horses out of the Dante, but the Guineas flashed up instead and that button was pressed. "They were pressing for the Dante but as they were pressing the Guineas flashed up. They weren't meant to be taken out of the Guineas and we are working on getting them back in."

why do they say things like "a man who was in his 40s" in statements like this? either it's him, or you're just talking about some random investigation of someone else for no apparent reason?

The Met Police said: "In December 2016, the Met began an investigation following a referral from another police force. The investigation related to allegations of serious sexual offences against a teenage boy. These were reported to taken place between 1997 and 2000. As part of these enquiries, a man who was in his 40s at the time of the interview, was questioned by police under caution in July 2018. A full file of evidence was submitted to the Crown Prosecution Service, who determined the evidential threshold had not been met to bring charges.
