@achandler2409 Don’t agree. Tactically they were spot on. Filled their box when we attacked to make it hard for us to play. On the ball their movement and passages of play were brilliant. They actually played football. They slowed the game down at every opportunity, yes, but it was effective.

@AliNCFC I must have been at a different game Ali. They clogged and choked the game for 90 mins. So many players on their arse and feigning injury. They were as shocking as we were. Tsmanga knows where the net is and we didn’t. Both sides awful. Neither ready for L1 standard. Rubbish day.

Barnet probably the best team I’ve seen at Meadow Lane this year. Their passing and movement was spot on, and every player wanted it and put themselves on the line Yeh, we were crap, but credit where credit is due - would not want them in the play offs 😬

@AliNCFC On the showing today and at Salford we have very few players who could cut it at League 1 level. Jatta , Jones , Bedeau , Iopenda and Palmer. Can’t think of any more

I can’t see how fans are blaming our recruitment/ the owners for that ? 😅 Those players didn’t turn up today. Plain and simple. They didn’t have the bottle in the big game. Nothing else.

@calum_night Yeh, we’re crap in big games. All we can do is win the games we have left and hope results go our way 😅 But this club will thrive on the fans support - so we may as well get behind them.

@AliNCFC I agree mate but realistically we don’t beat the teams around us, lost to Grimsby, chesterfield, Salford, Oldham, Cambridge all recently we don’t show up in big games so unless it’s autos which looks more and more unlikely there’s no chance in the playoffs, hopefully I’m wrong

@calum_night I just said that I agree that he’s not up to our level. What I’m saying is, most fans will be so behind the team if we win, so what’s the point in completely cursing out the team if we lose. We had a shit day - both team and fans, but it’s not over yet.

@AliNCFC At least half of that starting 11 would struggle to get into a mid table national league side, that’s half the reason why we lost, better players react to things quicker in both boxes. Not admitting recruitment is bad is what has us in this mess in the first place

@AliNCFC Yeah on just solely on today's game it goes on the players, but overall for the season and lack of depth that's on the recruitment and for the 3rd year running, it's not a coincidence

@Bryn1914088 I agree the owners aren’t exempt from criticism because they have got a lot wrong. But today was 11 v 11 and we didn’t turn up. By the time our bench was used the game was over. We fully cacked our pants when faced with a massive opportunity. Disappointing not surprising.

@AliNCFC It just points out that again we don't have the depth needed to go for promotion, this should have been addressed in January and for the 3rd season in a row it wasn't, at some point people need to accept that the owners aren't exempt from criticism

@benthorpe178 I don’t think they are though. Yes some of the players aren’t up to it, but those players wouldn’t be our no.1 to start if we didn’t have injuries. The goals we conceded today were not Cambridge being better than us - it was us panicking and shitting the bed.

@AliNCFC Maybe because the players on the pitch are out of their depth. If I said to you “so if we signed an 11 on national league north players and played them today you’d still blame them?” You’d have to say “yes I blame the players, not the people bringing them into the club”
