Just when I think we are doing an ok job raising the kids I find out one of them wants to split the last piece of pizza horizontal or diagonal instead of down the middle (correct answer). She started sketching & arguing her point on a napkin. 4 sale - 8 yr old free spirit!

@thebiologistisn I’m in central Iowa & volunteer garden space for grow outs if needed. I’ve really enjoyed watching this project.

The plan for next year should get me a full gallon of beans. Any efforts to produce more later would require some more garden space. (That'll probably happen in some way.)

Today we carved our giant pumpkins. Henrietta (left) & Miss Mae (right). Regular jack-o-lanterns for size. I had to use a sawzall to do it. Shell was 8 inches thick. Regular knife was not going to cut it (pun intended).

I had a realtor come buy 200 pumpkins tonight. She was going to hand them out to customers with a ribbon saying “I’ll always carve out time for you” plus a business card. 🎃🎃Cool use of a pumpkin🎃🎃

This is my favorite pumpkin from the 2022 season It will join the ~ 157 others my kids have drug/carried/squirreled/snuck in the house. I don’t know why I am adding to our House Pumpkin Collection but here we are.

@allen_brush It’s an estimate. Hard to tell what’s in here & what we’ve already evicted back to the pumpkin stand.
