It's shameful what is happening in South Africa. It persists with impunity for two reasons: 1. The African Union is moribund. 2. The SA government supports the anti-migrant stance of South Africans. In other words, the government's inaction is not due to helplessness but a deliberate policy of inaction. This is because no other explanation makes sense for why this unprogressive behavior continues. Everything @Julius_S_Malema said is meaningless populist lip service. How is Ghana's action unnecessary? Ghana responded to the kind of society SA is building, which includes @Julius_S_Malema, a leader. Is this to be a one-time or isolated incident? Perhaps diplomacy could be given a chance. But no, this savagery has persisted for decades. Decades. While evacuating Ghanaians from SA is not sustainable, and the government needs to go beyond the PR to focus on creating opportunities for Ghanaians, the decision to evacuate signals to Africa that we are failing at the basic, existential task of uniting ourselves for the common good. @Julius_S_Malema and his government must hang their heads in shame and stop moralizing because we don't need it. @Julius_S_Malema

“The Ghana’s action was not necessary” Ghana government repatriated more than 300 illegal Ghana foreigners which were also confirmed to be in South Africa illegally, however, the EFF leader Julius Malema says that was not necessary.

Ghanaians will be unemployed, not us, because we do not benefit from this South African-Ghana transaction. I'm sure the people working in South Africa are illegal foreigners from Mozambique or Zimbabwe.

Chelsea should be requesting a meeting with PGMOL. Been a scapegoat for the league since the Josh King debacle. Any time referees could give a cheap or 50-50 decision against Chelsea, they have.

Would be quite happy to not see any of Enzo Fernandez, Marc Cucurella, Pedro Neto, Malo Gusto or Wesley Fofana not in Chelsea colours next season. The former has clearly checked out and wants to go, Cucurella can only play well in one system, Pedro Neto's end product is abysmal. Malo Gusto and Wesley Fofana are simply not good enough. Same can be said about Liam Delap, Tosin, Filip Jörgensen and Benoit Badiashille. At least 1 of Jamie Gittens or Alejandro Garnacho can go. If Roméo Lavia can't stay fit, he needs to go too. Marc Guiu needs to go for the sake of his own career. If a club offers £100m+ for Cole Palmer, I'd consider it.Dario Essugo needs a loan. Trim the squad massively and get players that can cope with the physicality and intensity of the Premier League. It doesn't require household names or big cash splurges, focus on getting people that can deal with the rigours of the Premier League. Chelsea will have an elite manager in the dugout and he will make players better. The biggest issue this season has been a lack of balance in the midfield and a lack of spark. Estêvão can be a game-changer, you'd imagine Cole Palmer will benefit from a rest and you need to find one or two other players that can win games in a moment.

sell him @ChelseaFC. no need to keep players who are not committed

Enzo Fernandez made a gesture to Chelsea fans at full-time following the defeat to Sunderland that could be interpreted as a goodbye. Fernandez would welcome a bid from Real Madrid, while some informal and formative talks have taken place with Manchester City. He wants to play #UCL, with Chelsea's poor season leaving them in a weaker position to persuade Fernandez to sign a new deal. However, Chelsea won't consider a sale this summer for a book loss.🇦🇷

🚨🚨| BREAKING: Chelsea’s summer transfer plans are expected to shift with Xabi Alonso’s imminent arrival, but their search for a top-class striker remains unchanged, with Brentford’s Igor Thiago still among their key targets. {@GraemeBailey}

Xabi Alonso plays a back 3. So Colwill, Hato and who? Reece James & Marc Cucurella as wing-backs? What we thinking?

🚨🎙️ Wayne Rooney on Chelsea’s controversial FA Cup Final defeat against Manchester City: “I’ve watched football long enough to know when a team’s been hard done by, and Chelsea were absolutely robbed today. I don’t care who you support, some of those decisions were unbelievable. The first incident on Joao Pedro before halftime is a penalty for me all day long. Khusanov doesn’t go for the ball, he goes straight through the man. Anywhere else on the pitch that’s a foul instantly, so why does it suddenly become ‘not enough contact’ inside the box? Makes no sense. Then in the second half, the one on Caicedo… Doku clearly catches him as he’s driving forward. Chelsea players are surrounding the referee asking for consistency because we’ve seen those given plenty of times this season. VAR had every opportunity to step in and once again nothing happens. And the handball shout? That’s another one people will debate all week. The ball hits O’Reilly’s arm from Enzo’s cross and I honestly don’t know what defenders are supposed to do anymore because we’ve seen penalties given for far less than that. Every week the interpretation changes. What frustrated me most was the reaction from the officials. No urgency, no proper review, no referee going over to the monitor. In a cup final, with moments that big, you have to get them right. Chelsea players looked furious because deep down they probably felt the decisions were never going their way today. Three huge calls, all ignored. That changes games, especially finals. If this happened to Manchester United, Liverpool or Arsenal, everyone would be talking about it for weeks. But because it’s Manchester City on the other side, people seem scared to really question it properly. Chelsea didn’t only lose the final today… they were let down badly by the officiating.”
