The U.K. has banned two left-wing American commentators – Cenk Uygur and Hasan Piker – from entering the country due to their criticism of Israel. In this address at Harvard Divinity School in June 2025, Bethlehem pastor Munther Isaac described the weaponization of antisemitism to shut down criticism of Israel as "shameful." He further condemned the audacity of Europeans, who persecuted Jews throughout history, labelling others as antisemitic.

"We didn't have to kill a whole bunch of people or shut down the Strait of Hormuz." Former U.S. President Barack Obama criticized Trump's war on Iran, saying that his 2015 nuclear deal with Iran was negotiated "without firing a shot," before it was canceled by President Trump in 2018. Speaking to American TV host Stephen Colbert, he said that the diplomatic agreement in 2015 with Iran was internationally agreed and working well, according to U.S. and Israeli intelligence agencies. That was until President Trump unilaterally withdrew in 2018 and later launched unprovoked strikes on the country in 2026, raising oil prices worldwide and putting Gulf countries in the line of fire.

Extremist Israeli minister Itamar Ben-Gvir flew an Israeli flag while chanting "The Temple Mount is in our hands," outside the Dome of the Rock, considered to be the third-holiest site in Islam. Jewish supremacists seek to topple the mosque and rebuild the ancient Jewish temple on the site. It came amidst an annual far-right march in Jerusalem, considered a holy city by the three Abrahamic faiths, where Israeli nationalists chanted “death to the Arabs” and “may your villages burn.”

Are attacks on British Muslims being ignored? After a Muslim prayer room at Cafe Raha in Blackburn was firebombed, there was radio silence from the British media. While there was widespread coverage of antisemitism in the lead-up to the local elections last week, after a man with a history of violence and mental health issues stabbed two Jewish people and a Muslim man in Golders Green, the Muslim victim was largely left out of the headlines. No official motive for those attacks has yet been determined by the police. While no motive of religious or racial hatred has been determined in this arson attack either, it begs the question: Why are Jewish victims of attacks given more coverage than Muslims?

British media and politicians feign concern for Jews in the U.K. – but in reality, they just use religious minorities as a political football.

An Iranian British man has told the BBC how he chased away the attacker of last month's attack on a Jewish man in Golders Green, London. Footage from a security camera shows the attacker stabbing Moshe Shine, 76, at a bus stop before Ashkan Asadian runs towards the attacker to save Shine. Asadian says he tried to kick the knife out of the attacker's hand and was inspired to act because, "Jewish or non-Jewish, they're human."

Far-right party Reform UK has gained unprecedented numbers of council seats across the United Kingdom in local elections this month. The party, originally called Brexit UK in 2018, rebranded to Reform UK in 2021. It has since been riddled with accusations of racism, Islamophobia and antisemitism. While much of the mainstream media spent weeks accusing Zack Polanski, the Jewish leader of the left-wing Green Party, of antisemitism, it ignored the rampant hatred, bigotry, and racism within the ranks of Reform UK. The result? At least four Reform UK candidates who have made offensive and racist statements insulting Jews, Nigerians, Pakistanis and Sikhs have been elected to local councils. While the media was busy smearing the Jewish leader of a left-wing party, Reform UK councillors with shocking views were given a free pass with no media scrutiny.
