@AndiDurrant 'The last year of the greatest ever musical decade'? WTF? Don't think many would rank the 90s as greater than the 60s or 70s?! Anyway, out of these 2 years, 1988 gets my vote. If you look at the top 10 albums of both years, 88's list is much more heavyweight
