@theteejaygee @PaulKuharskyNFL I understand what you’re saying, and yes, the police cars were one of my favorite things. But the Astros, Rockets, Rice, and U of H all chose other primary colors. The Oilers organization popularized the color. Of course the other teams like using it, it’s the best in sports.

@PaulKuharskyNFL This is the best color scheme in sports. Bud made a mistake leaving the colors behind years ago. This is distinctly Oilers/Titans, not Houston. I was born in Houston, lived there 13 years. Have lived in Tennessee almost 40. The Oilers/Titans put the colors on the map, not Houston

I like the look a lot. And I'm not expert on creating something distinctly Tennessee. But I know what is distincly Houston, which is the city that put these unis on the map, right? They've had 27 years to establish Tennessee, and their rebrand is to go back to the thing they were dying to run from 27 years ago.

I'm sorry but you lose me with the guitar string stripes. Setting aside the corniness, there's zero Titans tie-in. Might as well make the roundel the shape of a guitar pick and be the Tennessee Blues.
