Can I brag? Tonight my husband received the Medal of Honor from the Green Bay Police Department. This is the highest honor, that has only been awarded 2 other times for acts of selfless bravery 💙 He’s our hero everyday. My heart is bursting, I’m so darn proud!

A team with a lot of LOVE doesn’t need a lot of RULES. Remember, the numbers don’t drive the people. The people drive the numbers. Love your team. They matter. 📷 pg 66 from my “Stick Together” book with @kateleavell

I would argue education is not data or curriculum driven and not even student driven. Education is relationship driven. Teachers thrive w/ positive admin relationships & students thrive w/ positive teacher relationships. Relationships drive education.

Good school culture is never a fluke. It results from educators who love their job and make decisions based on the best interests of kids!

As a rule of thumb, kids like the teachers who really like them. So it’s kind of important to like the kids.

Maintaining a positive attitude at work does not mean you’re in denial about how bleak the reality of the situation may be. It means you’re choosing to focus on your potential for making a difference, rather than dwelling on the circumstances that you can’t control.

It was a GREAT first week of school at Valley View! We loved seeing all of the smiling faces and all of the fun and learning that is taking place already. We can’t wait to see everyone back on Monday morning at 8:15. #WeAreASD

Honored to be sitting in the first session led by three black women in PBIS Leadership Conference history. We have a lot of work to do in Wisconsin to close opportunity gaps and these women are helping to lead the way. @pbislc18
