@bbclaurak following on about school fees, small independent schools will be forced to close when parents can’t afford the fees and the schools can’t swallow the 20%. It’s a joke! No room in state schools but let’s add VAT on school fees.

@bbclaurak you have the labour leader on tomorrow. Could you please ask him if they are elected whether they still intend to charge 20% VAT on school fees? how does he propose to deal with oversubscribed schools taking additional pupils when parents can’t afford the fees.
