@MayorOfLA I watched part of the debates- not all homeless people are on drugs. I wasn't. I have health problems. Keep up the good work.

Bringing people inside is absolutely the first step in helping them reclaim their lives.  My proposed budget supports this life-saving work that we are doing and will continue to bring homelessness down.

As a former physician assistant working in emergency rooms, I experienced first-hand the many ways people could end up on the streets and the breadth of hardships that brings.

If I can't access my social security without a cell phone in my name, I feel my rights are being violated. I recently got a government phone but it has to be used regularly for a while to work on their website. I doubt I can do that.

We should be nice to each other because there is no god protecting any of us from harm. The Force is very impersonal but I do believe in karma simply because I have seen it strike. But energy is just doing what energy does. It doesn't really care, it doesn't have the capacity.

Iran started the war with Iran, they drew first blood. But I do wish Mr Trump could finish it quicker. This is taking too long.

I wish there was a way to sue the social security administration. Their system requires a person to have a cellphone in their name to get tax returns and new SS cards. This is wrong. Is there help out there?!

I have noticed that humans experiment on themselves and each other all the time. "What would happen if I...". We are like lab rats to each other aren't we? No wonder I am a loner.

I believe with the Force there is an afterlife, a temporary rest before reincarnation. It's very complex, too complex to talk about on X. I couldn't put aside my belief to partake of religious programs in homeless shelters. We need big secular shelters and programs.

For what it's worth, I hope by some miracle Katie Porter would win the election. She's not in the lead. 😰

I see Universe 25 in the presidential shooter, Cole. His manifesto was filled with religious references, apparently. Harmful beliefs lead to harmful behaviors. The Force doesn't watch over us like god would . We need to take care of each other not kill one another.

Bad things happen to good people simply because of the randomness of life. Buddha talked about that in the Dhammapada. He warned against making everything karma. Just do your best to get through this maze that is life.

What exists without existing? Time. There is no time as a force of its own yet what we measure with clocks passes. Change occurs and can be measured and observed. So there is time. Time is a contradictory subject. ☺️

We need secular shelters and tiny apartments for people on government programs to combat homelessness. Too many shelters are fronts for religious groups. It's scary. Few ways off the streets without Jesus.

@dragondrop9758 I already posted about the most important - secular shelters for people on government programs. No prayer groups, no hoop to jump through, no cult.

@AngelSycorax what are some of the identifiable homeless needs you can see?

I was on the streets because of my health and no help. I got some help up and can see what is needed for the homeless. But no voice in the world.
