I don't know why South Africans rant a lot about other black people hustling in their country. In Uganda we have over 2 million refugees living here but we've never called them "foreigners," that's a term reserved for people from outside this continent.

My family and I watched the 60 Minutes interview with Donald Trump and Norah O’Donnell last night, and we were shocked. Seeing a president speak to a woman journalist with that level of contempt — and a clear allergy to facts — is disturbing, though at this point not unexpected given his pattern of behavior.
But that is the problem. Because when that level of disrespect from the highest office in the country repeats itself, it starts to trickle down into our culture and define what power looks like, shaping how boys and plenty of men see women and girls and what they come to accept as normal behavior.

He underwent 25 tests in the build-up to the Berlin Marathon, blood and urine, around 2–3 times per week, including days where he was tested twice. He maintained that same approach into 2026. Now, he has broken the Marathon World Record, clocking 1:59:30 in London. Officially the first man to go sub-2 in the marathon.

Vuyo, you’re wrong! There's a massive difference between enforcing immigration laws and telling a legal resident to fix your country. The Ghanaian national attacked in KwaZulu-Natal had proof of legal status. This wasn't immigration enforcement, it was harassment, pure and simple. You're conflating lawful policy with mob justice. Governments across Africa do enforce immigration laws through due process, not street intimidation.
Don't cloak xenophobia in the language of policy failure.

There is no government that would summon our Ambassadors if the government actually enforced immigration laws. Immigration laws are enforced all over Africa and rest of the world, and no one says its xenophobia. The issue in SA, is a failing government that leads to citizens having to step in. The only solution is a government actually enforcing the immigration laws !!!
