It still looks unnatural. His face is very round as a child, and his eyes are big, it makes the most sense to assume he would retain these features to an extent. I mean, there's a reason why Sokka and Zuko weren't shown looking like that at around Aang's age.

People need to understand that it's called "donating" to ao3 because it's voluntary and they don't make a profit, but in practice it's just people paying for their entertainment. It's not more morally questionable than giving your money to a streaming platform owned by a corp.
