The Dawgs - A Cleveland Browns Podcast
Would you make this trade? I’ve seen the trade idea floating around about sending Pick 24 back to the Jaguars straight-up for Brian Thomas Jr. Personally, though I really like BTJ, I’d want something else in return (and I’d expect Berry to fetch more in the trade). What it boils down to is how you feel about BTJ compared to the 2nd tier of WRs in this draft class (KC Concepcion, Denzel Boston, Omar Cooper Jr.).

1. I did. Before I took the screenshots of this. 2. He dirted about 10 more untipped passes the same game. So I don’t care. 3. He did the same exact thing earlier that year against the colts. So whether it was tipped or not, the ball is still going directly into Dax Hill’s chest. Should’ve attached a birthday card to the football.

I’ll never get tired of that Bengals INT because it just looks so impossible physically it’s hysterical. • Has 10 yards of open space and would beat the lineman to the edge. • Puts his entire body into this throw to rip it in there. • The ball becomes a wounded duck after 14!!!!! yards. Dax Hill has to wait on it 😂 • It drifts softly into Dax’s chest, at minimum 10 yards off target.

@BrownsNationcom If they want a receiver then go get it in the draft. We don’t need any more head cases on this team. Especially if that means giving up draft capital

Moe Moton of Bleacher Report names the Browns as a potential landing spot for WR Brandon Aiyuk, noting he could instantly become Cleveland’s top receiving threat if healthy. "At the low price of a late-round pick, the Cleveland Browns may be interested in Aiyuk, who would arguably be their best receiver. Entering the draft, Jerry Jeudy is atop the Browns' receiver depth chart. He's eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards once in six seasons, his first year in Cleveland. Aiyuk accomplished that feat in back-to-back campaigns in 2022 and 2023 before tearing multiple ligaments in his knee during the 2024 season. If Aiyuk bounces back into pre-injury form, the Browns would have a dynamic receiver who can lead their passing attack with big plays. Of course, the Browns would need to do their homework on Aiyuk's rehab process before they strike a deal. He would also have to pass a team physical, which was an issue with signing defensive end A.J. Epenesa." (bleacherreport.com/articles/25413…)

Comp update: Kirk Cousins will sign a five-year, $172 million deal with the Raiders that in reality is a one-year, fully-guaranteed $20 million deal that also contains a club option for two years at $80M. The Falcons will pay Cousins $8.7 million this season, the Raiders another $1.3 million and Las Vegas also agreed to pay its new QB a fully-guaranteed $10 million roster bonus on the third day of the 2027 new league year. And maybe most notably, it also sets another new mark: this will be the 11th straight NFL season in which Cousins’ contract will be fully guaranteed.

Honestly don’t think it would be crazy for the #Browns to take Allar in the 3rd if he’s there. He has all the right tools and there would be, I hope, an understanding that he would develope for a year or two. See what you have in Shedeur. With Watson gone soon, we need options.

"If you're able to recall, that game was 3 years ago against the Cowboys, you've been watching tape... I don't believe for a second he ain't watching tape on any of these guys." 🚨@KenCarman doesn't buy that Todd Monken hasn't watched much tape on Deshaun Watson
Daniel Oyefusi@DanielOyefusi

At the AFC coaches breakfast yesterday, Todd Monken said he hasn’t watched much past film of Deshaun Watson. Later on, I followed up and asked why Monken wouldn’t watch prior film as he decides to divide QB reps this spring. This is what Monken had to say.

The Dawgs - A Cleveland Browns Podcast
"I would actually take a chance on Ty Simpson at number six." Mary Kay Cabot said she would draft the Alabama QB sixth overall if she were making the pick. Simpson has gotten a lot of buzz recently with some analysts claiming he’s a better prospect than Fernando Mendoza. At any rate, if the Browns draft Simpson at 6, that would put a swift end to Shedeur Sanders in Cleveland.

@ESPNCleveland @egoldie80 @JRCherry3 I mean, you can’t go wrong with drafting a blue chip player like that. Does it address the issues that we currently have? No. I don’t think it’s the best choice for us. But it does give us a strong backfield. Especially with the new O line. Could be a big part of the season.
