8 years ago Ray Wilkins passed away. Still remember the lunch we had to do interview @D_of_Edinburgh for "Eddie Mac Eddie Mac" book. Great afternoon with Superjock, his brother Graham & Ray christening @SmiffyEastStand the Chelsea statto. They don't make them like Ray anymore.

One thing for sure is I’ll won’t be able to think back fondly of the players we have today as I do about players like ‘Butch Wilkins’ who left us 8 years ago today. Different class of player and person. Always loved the club and always thought of other people 💙🙏

Small shops are being cleaned out, staff are being assaulted, and security guards are risking their necks every day. Meanwhile, cosplaying revolutionaries are staging ‘tax the rich’ shoplifting raids on Waitrose and M&S for TikTok clout. The only people they’re hurting are low‑paid workers and customers who now stare at empty shelves and security boxes.

Retail crime is out of control. As an M&S boss says, it is getting worse, not better. The scenes in Clapham this week sum it up – but Labour don’t seem to give a damn. They have cut 1,316 police officers since they came to power. We need tough action to stop these hooligans.

If the are no deterrents, crime will continue to rise & will become more violent. Non of this is rocket science. The cost of shop lifting IS passed on to consumers. And now shop workers are getting hurt too. It is not a victimless crime. It has societal consequences
Chris Rose@ArchRose90

Thinus Keeve, Retail Director at M&S: "I keep hearing crime is falling, especially in London, something none of us believes, and very few people working in retail would see.” He continued to blast Sadiq Khan for failing to “prioritises effective policing.” He’s 100% correct.

📅 On this day, 8 years ago, we lost the late great Ray Wilkins. ❤️ This story from a former solider about how Wilkins helped him escape a life on the streets is still as powerful today as it was back then.

Marks & Spencer are just saying what millions of Brits already think It’s not even worth reporting petty crime anymore because the system won’t do anything about it

‘Driven to the end of their tether.’ Commissioning Editor at The Spectator, Lara Brown, says Marks and Spencer made a political statement calling on Sadiq Khan, saying ‘enough is enough’ and urging government support for policing shoplifting.

Witnesses in Clapham describe “anarchy”, youths flooding shops and streets, businesses locking doors while families hide inside. But we’re told it’s scaremongering to say London feels unsafe.

Not Reform UK, not GB News – Marks & Spencer is now accusing Sadiq Khan of failing to get a grip on crime in London. That’s how mainstream the lawlessness has become.
