A small but important footnote. Troops of the Israeli army have today for the first time advanced from the Mount Hermon area, the highest elevation of the Golan Heights, into Lebanon (TheJournalist68). This was made possible by the generous handover of this actually Syrian territory by the new Syrian Islamist strongman al-Jolani to Tel Aviv and thus to the Israeli army. Something that would never have happened under Assad. By the way: al-Jolani is being received today in Berlin on a state visit as a "great friend."

This have serious consequences for the State of Israel. In the shadow of Trump's invasion plans in the Strait of Hormuz against Iran, Fatah, Hezbollah, and Hamas appear to be advancing on Tel Aviv to overthrow the Israeli government. The situation is serious, as the daily airstrikes by the Iranians and now also by Yemen's Ansarullah are increasingly weakening the IDF. (AhmedAuwal). The airstrikes continue, and young Israelis are fleeing the country or protesting loudly against the Zionists. Could a resignation of the current government change anything? Hardly. But if nothing happens and everything continues as is, civil war-like conditions loom. This is the greatest crisis of the State of Israel since its founding.
