Team Tennis Rankings for Week 5 The MVC makes a big splash following some big non-conference wins No individual rankings this week but keep your eyes peeled for district predictions tomorrow 👀

Our guys were chosen as one of 32 1A teams to qualify for team postseason & received the #2 seed in 1A Substate 5. On Wed. May 20th we’ll play at Luther College, opening with Grundy Center and potentially earning a rematch with #4 Decorah to qualify for the team state tournament.

A-P boys get an 8-1 win tonight at Grundy Center. With our schedule currently empty next week that puts our dual meet record to 8-2.

Co-NICL Conference Champions! Didn’t get all the individual results we wanted but still tied for 1st in the team race at 40 with Waterloo Columbus. First conference title since 2023.

NICL Conference Tennis is underway at Byrnes Park in Waterloo. 9 individual titles and a team trophy are on the line.

Got our sixth 9-0 victory of the year tonight against Union. We’ll play for the chance at an NICL conference title tomorrow morning starting at 9:00 AM.

A-P over South Tama 9-0 at home. Busy week next week including the NICL Conference Meet on Tuesday in Waterloo.

A-P boys tennis will compete at Byrnes Park in Waterloo on Saturday, May 16th for Singles/Doubles district competition.

Boys come in 11th in this week’s Coaches Poll rankings. We sit at a 5-2 record after tonight, only losses came 4-5 to #4 Decorah and another to #5 W-SR where we were 4 super-tiebreak points from winning 5-4.
