Though, it's not an excuse for what she did, and I still walked away, it changed how I viewed relationships. And that a girl cheating on you doesn't automatically mean she never loved you. Sometimes it means love was there, but loyalty wasn't🥲😭

What surprised me wasn't the cheating, it was that she broke down in tears, begging me not to leave because, according to her, she loved me with all her heart. That experience taught me that, someone can have real feelings for you and still make a decision that hurts you deeply.
