A fun thing that's not often discussed about game audio is how you develop a sound design style that's unique to yourself just like an instrumentalist would. Guitarists all have different approaches/sounds that are unique and great, and the same is true for sound designers! ✌️

@clemmy_danger I've been using Inky from Inkle Studios. It's a great tool designed for branching options. But I've also yet to create any stories with significantly branched storylines. In Sexy Biz, none of your choices persisted past a particular "date." So, for the most part, I've not had to.

Occasionally I’ve been told I’m a very musical sound designer. My gateway into #gameaudio was hearing bands doing sound design as music, so I guess it makes sense? I’ve just always seen composing/sound design as two sides of the same coin and not conflicting skillsets

Love this honesty. This is beyond ok. Sometimes a job is a job. And there is nothing wrong with that! It’s rare when your artistic fulfillment, personal fulfillment and professional fulfillment all come from the same place. 2/3 on one show is pretty good.
