There's really not enough of this type of content in the scene and I think Khezu has been doing a great job at it. During TI I even made my team watch one of his videos as prep. Anyways made a video with Khezu to help expose us as frauds for the next year.

@G3nXsiS @GGNickcvillo from the GG org's own side it does sound like it. I'm sure from the player's side its probably worse tbh, which is sort of scary

@Aui_2000 @GGNickcvillo @Aui_2000 Agreed on your insight for this. For your point on #5. Would you say from your experience that it likely means that GG wanted to force the players to re-sign with them if they wanted to compete at TI under the GG banner cause they "have to under valve rules"

I can't believe this is the statement @GGNickcvillo is making while representing GG. In his own post he says the following as the timeline: 1. The players requested to play TI not under the GG org (reasons currently not stated publicly by either party) 2. In this statement GG org agreed to let them participate as independent players for TI 3. GG org told Valve that they don’t want the slot even thought they agreed to let the players participate as independant players (????????) 4. This was used as leverage to try to force the players to agree to the org's terms 5. The players agreed to play as GG, but GG org said they had "no confidence that the team or members of the team would remain with GG or be in a position to represent the team and their colleagues at TI" 6. Blamed the players for "delay[s] in making decisions and lack of preparedness to successfully achieve the desired outcome at TI" And this is purely from the GG org's side?? Come on, at least try to make yourself look better. Who would ever want to play under the @GaiminGladiator banner in anything after this?

@xeozor21 Yes it would be obvious, so the logical followup is that the players thought that playing under the GG banner was just that unappealing. We don't really have the full story from either side, so it's sort of hard to speculate.

@Aui_2000 I’m just curious to understand how it works - if the players had a valid and active running contract with GG which included TI in it’s validity terms, why they’d want to break it and terminate? Wouldn’t it be obvious to the players it could lead to some unfavorable consequences?

The idea that a team as competitive as that who have been to the last two ti finals is suddenly gonna give up and therefore won’t represent you to the fullest is just so funny. Guess I gotta worry about my job since we haven’t won ti in eleven months.
