@MFStathakis@TheSpursUpShow Michael, you forgot about the free meal plans where they the get access to a cafeteria only athletes are allowed in. Seems like bigger schools even have a cafeteria just for the football team. I bet that food is horrible 🤥
@TheSpursUpShow I’m fine with it. Players get scholarships, stipends, housing, and now NIL. I don’t see why admissions needs to also go out of its way to make even more exceptions for athletes. Students have to get certain criteria covered to advance in school. Athletes can do same.
@FlexOnThaDevil@MFStathakis@TheSpursUpShow All the hours they spend on the field, classroom, weight room, film room, etc. these poor athletes are also required to spend a certain amount of hours each week with a tutor majority of the time. Tutors that I’d bet only help with athletics. Get where I’m going with this?
@MFStathakis@TheSpursUpShow Because athletes have to still take out numerous hours out of their days when they are not in class or at practice to work out and study film... They do not have as much free time as an average student, which is why they should not be held to the same admission standards.
Congratulations to a truly great football team, the Clemson Tigers, on an incredible win last night against a powerful Alabama team. A big win also for the Great State of South Carolina. Look forward to seeing the team, and their brilliant coach, for the second time at the W.H.
