I didn't know this would be the last time I saw my Dadi Our last FaceTime you told me to come for your birthday in October but now I'm struggling with the fact that that was our last call. Whenever life has been good or bad every time I spoke to you it made everything better. I didn't even want to write all of this but think it's good for me to. You've been a huge impact in my life since the day I've been born. You gave me the utmost confidence & the space to always be myself. We've shared so many memories big and small. We watched every Harry Potter movie in theatre together with my sister, we shared fries from the same spot every time you visited & I'll never forget we promised the universe we'd crack a coconut if it stopped raining when we were at Disneyland and it really stopped (we cracked the coconut) The first time I flew out of the country was with you back to India & even my first tattoo was inspired by you because you would always give me Om pendants. My most favorite memories in recent years has been just spending time with you in your house eating your cooking & listening to the stories about your life realizing how much being adventurous runs in our family. There's so much more I can say about how much she means and how much this hurts rn but I know she lived an extremely full life and impacted the lives of anyone that crossed paths with her to the point I have grade school friends I don't event talk to and their parents check on her. Truly one of a kind & I promise to reach all the heights you wanted to see me touch 🤍
