Today the @EuropeanParl will vote on #NatureRestoration I don't get the argument saying that it must be rejected because it is badly designed. Isn't it whole point of the parliamentary work to improve it? We worked hard to make suggestions now reflected in Council's views (1/2)

This is simply wrong The @EUCouncil has agreed to better address large divergences within & between EU countries regarding urban green, notably in those cities with already large green areas, like Helsinki They won't have to do the same efforts as less green ones #ForOurPlanet

We❤️Helsinki! It's already one of the best cities in the world to live in. Cities are different, but Mr Timmerman’s badly designed #NatureRestoration Law is blind to that. His law will cover 10.7km2 of Helsinki in green areas, in a city where 38% of land is already forests!
