@sean_gause @PartyLegal People can see passion, if it’s not there then people won’t get invested because they can tell it’s a cash grab. If you WANT to jump in you need to actually be passionate about it, if you it’ll hurt the game as a whole

@sean_gause @PartyLegal It just seems like a sure fire way to get burnt out. Youll probably want to wait a bit before jumping into your dream project just to get your bearings, but trend chasing just looks hollow. Especially for a genre that people are sick of enough to where its been named “friendslop”

I like Peak (and the devs) but I don't think it's healthy to encourage indie devs to chase trends and pump out games "before the fad dies".
Too many people already see game dev as a get rich quick scheme. Indie devs should be encouraged to make stuff that they like.
