@markcamilleri5 The worst part is the washing of hands of anything not under his watch. Like nothing ever happened.

He looks agitated, stressed, and deeply uncomfortable and at one point in time blurts out his insecurity with having him compared to Joseph Muscat. "I insist I would like to propose my vision instead of speaking about Joseph Muscat" he says anxiously. markcamilleri.org/2022/11/06/an-…

@ElleIbbotson @Zemploid Well, clear proof that EU leaders are no better. From Russia to Azeri, same mistake expecting different outcomes. And I thought this may have been a super green opportunity. Guess I was wrong. Enjoy the heatwave Europe

@Zemploid @KurtMBonnici Election crap behind a truck was worse and nothing was done. No fuss was made on that. But these are foreigners so it's easier to attack.

I'm hearing that Maltese diplomats are back to saying that we need to sell passports to "attract talent" to Malta. To quote one of the promoters of the passports for cash scheme, this is "nonsense of stilts".

@RobertaMetsola @TheTimesofMalta @Earthling70 What are we going to do about it? We should be enraged. We should be in the streets. We should draw the line, here and now, and demand better. But with Covid, we remain quiet. War on corruption should start now.

The vile links between the criminal underworld, the #Malta Labour Party & Government continue to be exposed in the most horrific way. #DaphneCaruanaGalizia warned us. And they killed her. This is why we fight for justice. This is why we will never stop fighting for our Malta.

Which companies would you recommend as one who, not only provide a service for UK freelancers, but truly understand and get what freelancing is all about, and the world in which freelancers live?

@dvassallo I like to think one should be obsessed about the problem being solved and not your idea that may solve it. Only then can you detach yourself from the idea/solution and just focus on getting it solved.

Instead of seeking validation for your idea, try to seek its falsification instead. And try to detach yourself from your ideas. This game is not about stroking your ego, but discovering what’s worth trying and what definitely isn’t. That’s how you stack the odds in your favor.

Confirmation bias is a particularly insidious trap when starting a new business. A new business is basically a bet on an unproven theory, and you don’t help your odds of success by ignoring any evidence that proves you wrong.

@dvassallo Love this conversation! We built an insurance online advice tool to help you calculate exactly that. How much life insurance do you need when transitioning from employed to self-employed? Numbers are UK specific. Check it out on meetsherpa.com

If you're thinking of working for yourself, you should consider insuring against catastrophic risk. These are my insurance costs in Seattle, age 35 with family+kids: Health: $15K/yr with $14K deductible Life: $1.3K/yr for $5M benefit Disability: $2K/yr for $10K/mo benefit

How we all work in the coming years is shifting to greater flexibility and control. The life of the self-employed. While exciting, what social impact does it have? What happens when things go wrong? Chris talks about the future of work in this PodCast! @ccvkaye13

@xfm1002 an apology is in order. Oz (not a Scientist) denying climate change (confirmed by Scientists) on public radio is irresponsible. As bad as a flat earth psycho.

Great idea! Over 10 years as an IT contractor never sorted this out due to lack of time to decipher options myself and feeling advisors were finding the best deals for themselves. Would be great to see this extended to all insurance required for the self employed! #Insurtech
