@centredevils@FabrizioRomano Let them loan him for another season. Just renegotiate from United side also. They must buy him for 40 million afterwards.
🚨🚨🌕| NEW: Manchester United are insisting on the €30m buy option; otherwise, Marcus Rashford will return to the club and assess his situation, with Barcelona continuing to push to renegotiate his loan rather than trigger the buy option. [@FabrizioRomano]
@TouchlineX When players and their egos are more important than team and where the team is going, things will always fall apart. No matter who you are, if you can't be subbed, because you are to important in your own eyes then you are the problem.
🚨 𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥: In October, Real Madrid were beating Barcelona to go 5 points clear at the top of La Liga, but this is the day it all went wrong for them.
• They had only lost 1 game in all competitions by then, and were in a good position in the Champions League.
• Xabi Alonso subs out Vinicius during El Clasico, who starts screaming as he walks off the pitch.
• "I'm leaving! I'm leaving! I better leave this team!"
• Since then, the relationship between Xabi and the dressing room was broken, which led to his sacking months later.
• Real Madrid hired Arbeloa, who got knocked out against a third division side in his first match, by Bayern Münich in the Champions League and could go 11 points behind Barcelona if they win today.
• Now they find themselves in the exact same position as last year: trophyless, looking for a new manager, and with no clear option to move forward.
@jaredwright17 This can quickly become a free for all now. The next time the outcome will however have a totally different outcome. That is if you go with the way these different panels opperate.
Latest on Luke Morgan's dogshot on Ethan Hooker:
"The citing officer involved reviewed the incident and found that it did not meet the red (or yellow) card threshold." (via Independent Media/Mike Greenaway)
The incident was never reaching the red card threshold, but to say that it wasn't a yellow is frankly absurd.
@TheBallZoneX I would advice him to leave if I was Madrid in any case. His attitude will be the end of Madrid. Him wanting to leave if Mourinho is appointed just shows he wants things his way and does not want authority over him.
@UtdTony1 People don't seem to understand that being "better" means nothing if you lose. What matters is whether you win or not. United were better in the areas where it mattered. They took their chance and defended well to keep Chelsea out.
🎙️🚨 Jamie Carragher; Chelsea was a better team than Man United, they wanted to play but Man United was sitting at the back waiting for a counter to attack.
Today it works for them again, it has always been working for them mostly against big six, since Micheal Carrick took over the job.
But can he go far with this style of play next season no, no he will get exposed and punish for that.
I don't see them playing good football they just sit back defending all the time.
If you play like this in champions League next season, teams like PSG, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, will punish you with that.
But I still don't see them giving him the job permanently 🔴 💣
@FabrizioRomano Chelsea were dominant from minute 1 till the end. Where it mattered they were nowhere however. That is what matters at the end. Not how dominant you were.
@scrumming_ten 7 and 1 is offside just looking at this photo. The offside line is the tryline. Anything infront is offside. Seen numerous penalties given before, because players has a hand infront of the tryline even though the feet are behind the line.
@Dreamchaser4132@thepaulwilliams You're wrong.....
Reading from the wrong part of the laws.
21.12: If any part of a defending player is in in-goal, that player is considered to be in in-goal, provided they are not also in touch or on or over the dead-ball line.
Refs out there.
Is touching the try line offside, when the try line has become the offside line?
I always thought it was like the touchline
ie touching it means you've crossed it?
I know a guy who got married on the day of the 2019 Rugby World Cup final!
When I called him out later he said, "I didn't think we'd be in the final."
As they say in Pretoria, "Swak, ou!"
Look what he missed!
@scrumming_ten So a team must lose home games, because people don't watch the games at tje stadium? Let them play home if they qaulify. They would deserve it after all.
The only negative thing about the Lions making the URC QF is that their stadium attendances will become an issue in the Champions Cup
Their Champions Cup home games should be played as double-headers at Loftus with the Bulls
@QuadeCooper So many people started loving the game a long time ago, because of all the different skills needed from people of different builds and skill levels.
Why do we now have this obsession to change everything and cut people with different builds and skills out?
I’ve been watching a lot of Rugby lately, and it got me thinking about how we could speed the game up and open it up a bit more.
One idea I had, hear me out. To encourage more offloads and reduce the number of rucks, what if when a team knocks the ball on, they’re not allowed to touch it next which currently results in a scrum. If they do, it’s a long arm penalty.
That gives the opposition guaranteed first rights to the ball. They can pick it up and play immediately with a backward pass, or if they want to slow it down, it could work similar to an AFL mark and you have 10 seconds to resume play or it’s a turn over again. If you step off the mark, you’re live and can be tackled.
The goal is simple, reward teams that want to play fast, create more chaos, and reduce stoppages?
Questions - would this ruin our beautiful game and allow less skilled players to play (which is what most people want inclusivity)
Would it make it slower? Faster?
There’s nothing wrong with our game?
@scrumming_ten As a SA supporter it would be a very good tournament to be apart of, but some things should not be changed. The six nations is one of those things I believe.
Outside of the World Cup, the Six Nations is Rugby's greatest championship 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
The rugby championship only became a meaningful tournament in 2022
If the Springboks and Argentina had a choice, they'd both choose to play in an expanded 6 Nations
