🚨 THIS IS UTTERLY HEARTBREAKING 🚨 12-year-old Amelia Bath from Fontwell, West Sussex, was found dead in her bedroom by her mother last Friday morning. She is believed to have taken her own life after weeks of relentless bullying through abusive Snapchat messages. Friends only told her parents about the bullying after her death. Amelia had seemed happy the evening before, laughing with her grandparents over fish and chips. Sussex Police are investigating and examining her iPhone and iPad. The death is not being treated as suspicious and has been referred to the coroner. Her aunt set up a GoFundMe to cover funeral costs and support Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice. I wouldn’t normally post this, but people need to be aware of what their children are doing online. I know it’s hard – kids can be secretive – but no 12-year-old should be using Snapchat in my opinion. It’s one of the worst places for child abuse.
