📣 We've been assisting the emergency service in dealing with an incident near Bathgate. It's caused some disruption to the first @ScotRail services on the Airdrie-Bathgate line, but they're now returning to normal.

Trains, there are no services between Bathgate and Airdrie. Disruption is showing till around 9 this morning. Check your options on Scotrail's website.

Ticket Acceptance with JMB Buses: 41 - Lanark to Hamilton via Carluke, Wishaw, Shieldmuir and Motherwell. Whitelaw's Coaches: 253: Motherwell - Hamilton Central - Chatelherault - Merryton - Larkhall. 254: Hamilton Central - Chatelherault - Merryton - Larkhall. 255: Hamilton Central - Larkhall

UPDATE: Network Rail staff will arrive on site shortly to investigate this further. ℹ Train services between Glasgow Central and Newton Lanark via Kings Park will be suspended. All stations between Kirkhill and Newton Lanark will not be served.
