Frequencies Make My Balls Dance - Rodin Coil Tests with ELFs My balls somehow managed to drop even further. You can see them jiggling here. Da balls are cradled in the Rodin coil, which is sitting on a block of ice. The angle of the dangle changes at a constant as I stimulate a current through the coil. If the current is too intense, the wires will get hot... and they'll bust. Thus the ice. (ice baby) I have the Rodin coil connected to a laptop using an RCA headphone jack to a Right Channel/Left Channel cable. I have a car battery with an amplifier powering the coil like how a subwoofer is connected in a car. But rather than a subwoofer, the wires connect to the Rodin coil instead. So as I turn up the gain (volume) on the amp, the higher the intensity of the electric current and magnetic field in the coil. I have a software program on the laptop where I can play different tones from a signal generator app. I can play as many chords or tones simultaneously as I like, or separate them per channel. I have 2 NdFeB ball magnets. I put them in the center of the coil. I apply a 1 Hertz, 2 Hertz, 3 Hertz frequencies to watch the spheres bounce around to the magnetic field of the coil. There is a pattern at a certain resonance of about 3 Hertz in this particular scenario. The balls seemingly bounce around in a pattern correlating with the tangential/ vortexing current and magnetic field in the center of the coil. I did a bunch of interesting, fun, silly, stupid and very dangerous experiments over the years. This is one of the silly ones.
