1,500 books. One month. Every Club in North Alabama. We challenged our kids to read this March — because in a digital world, the ability to slow down and think is everything. Challenge accepted.📚 #AmericaNeedsClubKids #PandaCares

📚 Organization is important! It's National Reading Month, and during Spring Break, the 3rd Street Club kids took time to arrange our NEW Advanced Reading Bookshelf, donated by Decatur City Schools! We are so thankful that our kiddos have access to their AR books at the Club! 💙

"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go." - Dr. Seuss Every great reader starts somewhere. At BGCNAL, we're proud to be part of that story. #BGCNAL #Literacy

America needs kids who believe in themselves before the world can tell them otherwise. SMART Moves builds that confidence through real skills, real relationships, and a community that refuses to give up on young people. #SMARTMoves #BGCNAL #AmericaNeedsClubKids

The first week of National Reading Month was a success at the 3rd Street Boys & Girls Club. At the Boys & Girls Clubs of North Alabama, we believe reading isn't just a skill — it's the single most powerful tool a child can carry into their future.

The people who volunteer at our local Clubs make more of a difference than they know. We couldn’t do what we do without them, and we were thankful to recognize a few of the many who give their time to invest in our young people at our Mentorship Matters event.

Proof that homework is better with friends. 😊 Power Hour helps our Club members stay on track, build good habits, and take care of business—so they can enjoy everything else the Club has to offer. #AmericaNeedsClubKids
