I also think that kpop using a lot of international composers and taking influences from popular western music makes it more palatable to westerners whereas japan does not gaf about international consumers at all, like jpop sounds like JPOP and jpop alone

@hiragananinja You know overseas brokers sell the seats for the test. They buy in bulk, limiting the availability to people actually living in Japan. They ‘pass’ the test and get a job and then move their entire family here. Doesn’t seem right…. System needs reform.
