Hopeium why I think (=hope) Valko’s release could be split into "Version 6.0 Part 2" (like in version 3.0) with my personal prediction being August 8th 2026! Long post ahead🐺 We're all already speculating about the massive update size, even though Valko isn't in the game. A lot of people are already saying that his code is definitely included in this update, which would explain both the file size and this theory. They also didn't change the name of the version update. Why keep the name if the core content was permanently removed? It feels like a last-minute split in what they chose to release in order to deal with sudden outside interference. Valko's addition was introduced as the absolute core of the Version 6.0 Special Program. I'm fully aware that they never marketed it as a Part 1 and Part 2 release the way they officially did with Version 3.0. However, the entire update was never meant to exist without him in the first place. You can't tell me that stupid Kitchen and those little things would be worth a version Update, if it wasn't for Valko's addition. Now that we’ve only gotten half of what we should have, the other half could possibly be release in a pattern like Version 3.0. Since we haven't received any announcement regarding how Version 6.0 will roll out after the message about Valko’s removal, or what new content it may now include (see below), they could have theoretically decide to split the update without telling us, until things cool down with the pressure from the Govt + current issues. As we all know, they're not exactly known for being transparent. For a better understanding, Version 3.0 P1 + P2 went like this: Release of Part 1 (Dec 31 2024): Caleb was teased for Part 2 through the apple and poster details, but he was completely absent from the actual Part 1 update. Release of Part 2 (Jan 22 2025): Caleb's official character release + MS content + debut card arrived ~3 weeks later with the 2nd update. Now, for Version 6.0, we suddenly received free previews of the Myths. This also happened during Version 3.0 Part 2 and has quietly been carried over into 6.0 despite not being officially announced beforehand during the live-stream or official promotions. That unannounced addition makes me wonder whether they might be following a similar release pattern again. If they follow the exact same 3 week gap, it would initially point to a July 31 release. However, bcs Version 6.0 was never originally designed as a Part 1 + Part 2 version and shit got down, the schedule might end up looking different. To understand my assumption as to why to delay to August, we have to look at the current July event calendar: Wander in Wonder Rerun (Until July 16): This rerun was likely moved forward to promote Chinese culture under the current circumstances. Illusio & Radiant Fantasia (Until July 23 at 23:59): Valko's livestream redemption codes also expire on July 23. Keeping the Radiant Fantasia (the one where you can choose 5 selected memories from the standard pool) pool active until then allows players to spend their Empyrean Wishes on the existing five LIs one final time without risking a "lost pity" on a newly added Valko card in the standard pool. While developers didn't predict his sudden removal when they first set the code and Pools deadlines, they explicitly stuck to this timeframe when scheduling the Update and Radiant Fantasia. This makes me sure that if 6.0 had dropped smoothly, the launch events would have naturally concluded on July 23rd. We know Rafayel's new Myth is supposed to be scheduled for July. However, because they likely won't run Rafayel's Myth banner at the same time as the Illusio is still active, the earliest Rafayel's Myth could begin would be July 24. Since a limited Myth banner traditionally runs for 2 weeks, that would place the end of Rafayel's banner on August 7. Because the game cannot run two limited Deepspace Wish pools simultaneously, Valko can’t debut alongside his own limited debut banner until Rafayel's Myth ends. This pushes the earliest possible date for Valko's surprise Part 2 debut to August 8-9th 2026 (unless they decide to push his debut card to an even later date, but I think it'd be released simultaneously). I am already seeing rumors that Rafayel’s Myth might be delayed (who tf knows, guys aaaah, nothing is confirmed, nothing is EVER confirmed, all we ever had is rumours anyway). If it is delayed and they decide to push Valko’s addition forward instead, his release would make sense on July 24th. However, I’ll assume for this that Raf’s Myth will still remain scheduled for this month, so I'll stick with August 8-9th. Again, just a little hopeium, assumptions, delusion, call it whatever it is. As someone who genuinely wants Valko back in the game, this is the possibility I'm choosing to hold onto and hopefully it can spread a little positivity to others who are feeling the same way.
