This is a very important question. Jordan carefully looked after Jewish property “called property of the enemy”, which returned to Jewish ownership after 1967. This included the Wall. In contrast, properties owned by Palestinian Christians and Muslims inside Israel proper were effectively confiscated by Israel, given to Jewish immigrants and their owners never given compensation.

Capturing & removing fissile material. Reducing Iran's ability to control access through the Strait of Hormuz. Eliminating the regime's ability to export oil via the Persian Gulf. Establishing a base via which weapons can be delivered to the opposition.
