از اردیبهشت ۱۴۰۲، سه سال است که به اجبار، خارج از ایران زندگی می‌کنم. مرداد سال ۱۳۹۳، از برگزارکنندگان تجمعی در مقابل دفتر سازمان ملل در تهران، در اعتراض به جنگ و کشتار در کوبانی، غزه و سوریه بودم (عکس زیر)، چند ماه بعد مقیسه در دادگاه به من گفت: «گوه خوردی که مخالف جنگی؛ کوبانی و غزه و سوریه به تو چه ربطی داره؟» همان تجمع اعتراضی به یکی از اتهامات پرونده‌ام تبدیل شد و سال‌ها برای آن پرونده، در زندان ماندم. طی این سالها و همچنین پیش از جنگ ۱۲ روزه و در طول جنگ اخیر نیز بر اساسِ اصول و باورهایم، بار دیگر با صراحت در نوشته‌ها و مصاحبه‌هایم مخالفتم با ج.ا و جنگ را بیان کردم؛ چرا که جنگ را چیزی جز ویرانی، کشتار و سرکوب نمی‌دانم. معتقدم و پیش‌تر گفته‌ام که جنگ با هیچ بهانه‌ای قابل توجیه نیست، کمکی به مردم ایران نمی‌کند و شرایط را وخیم‌تر میکند که کرد، خصوصا وقتی هر سه طرفِ درگیر در این جنگ، فقط به دنبال منافع و تثبیت قدرت خود هستند و به همین دلیل، بارها با بی‌توجهی به قوانین بین‌المللی، مرتکب جنایت علیه بشریت و جنایت جنگی شده‌اند و باید پاسخگو باشند؛ از ج.ا تا اسرائیل و آمریکا! از حکومت جمهوری اسلامی تا عمق وجودم بیزارم که یکی از دلایل این بیزاری، جنگ طلب بودن سران این حکومت و دمیدن بر آتش جنگ در خاورمیانه است. هرگز برای حمایت‌ ج.ا از گروه‌های شبه نظامی در منطقه و حملات موشکی آن کف نزده‌ام و هورا نکشیده‌ام و هرگز برای حملات نظامی آمریکا و اسرائیل به ایران هم خوش‌رقصی نکرده‌ام. با این حال هر بار، نه فقط موافقان ج.ا که افراد دیگری که اتفاقا خود را از مخالف‌ترین مخالفانِ جمهوری اسلامی معرفی می‌کنند هم، همان ادبیات مقیسه و همان پیام را به اشکال مختلف به من رساندند، با توهین، تهمت، حمله و تهدید! دو هفته پیش، باز هم برای سرکوب و آزار من، به اعمال فشار بر خانواده‌ام روی آوردند و پدرم را به وزارت اطلاعات احضار کردند؛ چند روز پیش هم ابلاغیه‌ای از سوی قوه قضاییه برایم صادر شد که در آن اتهام «تبلیغ علیه نظام جمهوری اسلامی و تقویت رژیم صهیونیستی از طریق مساعدت مستقیم» به من نسبت داده شده است. راستش را بخواهید، تصور اتهامی احمقانه‌تر و مضحک‌تر از این برایم دشوار است، مضحک‌تر از تمام اتهاماتی که در طول حبس و پس از آن، از هر سو به من نسبت داده شد! اما اهمیت این پرونده و این برگه در چیز دیگری است. این سند نشان می‌دهد که وقتی برای کسی که در زندان و محروم از حق دفاع نیست و سه سال است که خارج از ایران زندگی می‌کند و بارها و بارها، بدون واهمه از حملات و تهدیدها، مواضع روشن و علنی خود را علیه جنگ و نقض حقوق بشر، چه از سوی ج.ا و چه از سوی اسرائیل، بیان کرده است؛ چنین پرونده‌سازی مضحک و سخیفی می‌کنند، روشن است که برای فعالان داخل ایران نیز به همین شیوه پرونده‌سازی می‌کنند؛ امری که سال‌ها درباره آن گفته‌ایم، اما هنوز عده‌ای حاضر نیستند آن را بپذیرند. اگر با وجود تمام نوشته‌ها و مصاحبه‌هایم چنین دروغ آشکاری می‌گویند، روشن است که تا چه اندازه در پرونده‌های زندانیان، فعالان داخل ایران و همچنین شهروندان بهایی، حقیقت را وارونه کرده و هزینه‌های جبران‌ناپذیری بر افراد و خانواده‌هایشان تحمیل می‌کنند. این برگه رسمی، سندی است که بی‌پایه و اساس بودن بسیاری از این اتهامات و بی‌اعتباریِ بسیاری از این پرونده‌ها؛ از جمله پرونده تمام کسانی که از طریق اعدام به قتل رسیده و یا در خطر این قتل عمد حکومتی هستند را فریاد میزند. در پایان، بار دیگر خطاب به ج.ا تاکید میکنم که تا وقتی هستید و حتی پس از آن هم، به تبلیغ علیه نظام‌ استبدادی‌تان و دادخواهی ادامه میدهم و نه «تقویت‌کننده اسرائیل از طریق مساعدت مستقیم»، بلکه از همه شما جنایت‌کاران و ناقضان حقوق بشر بیزارم و آرزوی محاکمه تک تک شما را دارم که با هر نام و به هر بهانه‌ای دستانتان به خون آغشته‌ است. راستی اگر با این پرونده‌سازی قصد مصادره اموال دارید، اعلام میکنم که من هیچ اموالی در ایران یا خارج از آن ندارم، اموال‌ من جوانی و سلامتی‌ام بود که شما سالها پیش، آنها را از من گرفتید و هیچ وقت هم به من باز نخواهند گشت. با این حال با ارزش‌ترین دارایی‌ام عشق به ایران و مردمانش و باور و عقیده‌ام به حقوق بشر است که هرگز نمی‌توانید آن را از من بگیرید، حتی با مرگ! عدم حضور جلب است؟! منتظرم :) #نه_به_جنگ #دادخواهی

Marjane Satrapi, an Iranian-French cartoonist, filmmaker and activist, has died, France's presidency announced Thursday. She was 56. People close to Satrapi said that she “died of sadness” after the death of her husband, Swedish film producer and actor Mattias Ripa, a year ago, French media reported. In the 2000s, she won major acclaim for her black-and-white comic series and movie "Persepolis," a story that mirrored her own upbringing during the Islamic Revolution. The film received a 2008 Oscar nomination for Best Animated Feature Film; she was the first woman to receive an Academy Award nomination in that category. Her other graphic novels included “Broderies” (“Embroideries”) and “Poulet aux prunes” (“Chicken with plums”), about the death of her great-uncle. Among her directing credits were the feature films "Radioactive," starring Rosamund Pike as Marie Curie, and "The Voices," starring Ryan Reynolds. In the early 2020s, she coordinated the publication of a book that artistically depicted the women's revolution in Iran after the death of Mahsa Amini. The resulting work, “Woman, Life, Freedom,” denounced the Iranian government's repression. "We are not asking any Westerners to come and make a revolution in our place. Just look at these people. They really need people to watch them, they need somebody to testify that everything they’re doing for freedom means something," she said of the book in 2024. "And this is the way we change politics, through public opinion."

Jamshid Ghomi, a dual U.S.-Iranian citizen who lives in a $35 million mansion in Orange County, California, was arrested for supplying over 200 tons of sensitive computer equipment to Iran in violation of U.S. exportation laws. He enjoyed our freedom, lived like a king, aided our enemy, and failed to pay taxes. Thanks to the work of @CommerceGov and @IRS_CI’s Los Angeles Field Office, he will hopefully be living in a prison cell for a long, long time. And yes, we’re taking the mansion by having it forfeited to the U.S. government.

This woman lost her 10 year old daughter when the US Bombed the school in Minab, killing over 130 school kids. Her daughter was a champion at Gymnastics. She told me in Tehran that her message to all mothers in Europe was - "Please consider that this could be your child"....
