Commissioner Rooks is our second Student Commissioner to be elected by students and he can vote on all matters except personnel and union negotiations. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished for student empowerment and we’re not stopping here.

Congratulations to Student Commissioner Dylan Rooks on his swearing in! ASCBC spent years advocating for our Student Commissioner to be empowered with expanded voting rights and elected by the broader student body.

Baltimore’s young people are our future. I want to thank my @bmorechildren team for hosting the @BaltCityASCBC SGA students at City Hall last week. We had a great chat about the changes they want to see and the work being done across the city to build a better future for them.
