@baselessblades Also, don't expect things to always go as we want them to, but we can't just throw everything out without holding on to at least one little thing. Doing that will just fuck up your psyche even more. Hope can serve as that, a small thread that you can hold when time are gloomy.

@baselessblades Hopes for what exactly? Hope is not really needed, but it's something that happens naturally as we desire something. Like hoping someone to get better. Hope is not obligatory, but it's usually a sign we as expect something to happen, even when we aren't sure of it.
