All 3 concert bands earned success at UIL this year!!! Sweepstakes for Varsity, Sweepstakes for Non-Varsity, and straight 1s in Concert for Sub-Non-Varsity! @KHS_Cougars

It was a great week for Kempner Orchestra. Both the Kempner Symphony Full Orchestra and the Non-Varsity Orchestra received sweepstakes at UIL. Hard work and dedication pay off! @KHS_Cougars @BandKempner

The Symphony Orchestra earned 1’s from all judges at UIL today! The students did an outstanding job and put on an amazing performance!!! @KHS_Cougars

The Indoor Drumline earned 1st place at the Pasadena Memorial TCGC contest in Percussion Scholastic A class! Great start to the season!!! @KHS_Cougars @FBISDFineArts

Congratulations to these 20 Kempner Band students!!! The AREA qualifiers will audition again in January for a chance to make the All-State Band. @KHS_Cougars @fortbend

The Marching band placed 2nd in class and 6th overall out of 22 bands at the Battle of the Berry. This was a very competitive field, 20 out of the 22 bands were 6A schools. UIL next week!!! @KHS_Cougars

Congratulations to Angela Nguyen who earned a division 1 rating at TCGC Color Guard Solo and Ensemble contest this oast Saturday!!!

The Wind Ensemble held a concert at the Festival Hill Concert Hall in Roundtop. Their performance was professionally recorded and will be used for TMEA State Honor Band. They did a tremendous job performing some wonderful music!!! @KHS_Cougars

We got a much needed brand new STATE of the art trailer for our STATE qualifying band! Thank you to FBISD and thank you to the community for supporting the bond!!! @KHS_Cougars

Congratulations to Mr.Dratler and the Symphonic band for earning a UIL Concert Sweepstakes!!! They played a challenging program and worked hard for a great performance. They were awarded 1s in Concert and 1s in sight-reading.

Congratulations to Kempner Jazz One for being awarded 3rd place overall at the Blinn Jazz Festival!!! This was also the first ever Jazz Fest for Jazz Band Two!!

The Wind Ensemble and Drumline performed at Smart Financial for the Sugar Land Mayoral State of the City. We performed with the Fort Bend Symphony.

Great weekend for the Kempner Band!!! Winterguard earned 3rd place at TCGC Pearland Regional, Jazz Band earned Superior Ratings at the UH Jazz Fest, and the Indoor Drumline won 1ST PLACE at the TCGC Jordan Regional!!! So proud of all of our students! @KHS_Cougars
