I saw a TikTok of someone celebrating that she went to Sun City for the first time as a 23 year old and the comments were so dizzy. People were saying it’s not a big deal, others said she wasted her money because Sun City fell off, eng eng. I hate this thing that South Africans do of belittling what someone is grateful for hey as if we are not majority poor. We have people that live in KZN that have never even been to the beach, others stay in the vicinity as the Kruger National Park but they will die without interacting with the animals, we have people in Gauteng that only see Gold Reef city online, it’s not an exaggeration, it is real life!
